Terms of service

Terms & Conditions

1. Customer Artwork & Order Confirmation

By placing an order with Handy Print, the customer confirms that:

  • All text, spelling, images, colours, sizes, quantities, and layout have been carefully checked and approved before submission.

  • The artwork submitted is the final version for printing.

  • Handy Print will print according to the artwork/file provided by the customer.

  • Once an order has been confirmed and production has started, changes, cancellations, or amendments may not be accepted.

  • The customer is fully responsible for any spelling mistakes, missing information, incorrect images, incorrect contact details, or other content errors in the submitted artwork.

  • Handy Print is not responsible for errors contained in customer-supplied artwork.

2. Artwork Requirements

For the best printing results, customers are advised to:

  • Provide artwork in CMYK colour mode.

  • Include a minimum 3 mm bleed where applicable.

  • Keep important text and design elements within a safe margin of at least 3 mm from the cutting edge.

  • Convert fonts to outlines or ensure that all fonts are properly embedded.

  • Ensure that important design elements are not accidentally set to Overprint.

  • Provide high-resolution images, preferably 300 dpi at the final printing size.

Handy Print reserves the right to request a corrected artwork file if the submitted file is unsuitable for production.

If the customer chooses to proceed with an artwork file that does not meet the recommended specifications, Handy Print cannot guarantee the final print result.

3. Colour Accuracy

Colour reproduction may vary depending on the artwork, monitor settings, paper/material, printing process, and finishing method.

  • Colours displayed on a computer, mobile phone, or other screen may not exactly match the printed result.

  • RGB files may be automatically converted to CMYK and may result in colour differences.

  • Slight colour variations between different batches or reprints may occur.

  • Printing on different paper or materials may produce different colour results.

  • Large solid colour areas, gradients, and photographs may show slight variations in tone or density.

For colour-critical projects, customers are strongly advised to request a physical proof / test print before proceeding with the full production run, where available.

4. Cutting, Folding & Finishing

Minor variations may occur during cutting, folding, creasing, binding, or other finishing processes.

Customers should ensure that important text, logos, borders, and design elements are positioned with sufficient safety margins.

For designs with borders or elements close to the cutting line, slight visual differences may be noticeable even when the finished product is within normal production tolerance.

5. Printing Tolerance

As printing and finishing are production processes, slight variations in colour, cutting position, folding, creasing, thickness, and finishing may occur.

Such variations are considered part of normal commercial printing production unless otherwise specified and agreed in writing.

6. Customer-Approved Proofs

Where a digital proof or physical test print is provided, the customer is responsible for checking and approving the proof before production.

Once the customer has approved the proof, Handy Print will proceed based on the approved version.

Any subsequent changes requested after approval may incur additional charges and/or production delays.

7. Delivery & Courier Damage

Once the order has been handed over to the courier, delivery is handled by the courier service.

Handy Print is not responsible for delays, loss, mishandling, or physical damage caused during courier transportation.

Customers are advised to inspect the parcel immediately upon delivery.

If the parcel is visibly damaged, customers should take clear photographs of the packaging and affected products and contact Handy Print as soon as possible.

For customers who require maximum protection and control over the finished products, self-pickup is recommended.

8. Defective or Incorrect Orders

If you believe there is a production defect or that the products received do not match the confirmed order, please contact Handy Print within 3 days of receiving the order.

Please provide photographs or videos showing the issue together with the order details so that we can investigate the matter.

If the issue is confirmed to be caused by a production error by Handy Print, we may, at our discretion, offer a reprint, replacement, partial refund, or other appropriate resolution.

9. Refunds & Cancellations

Custom-printed products are produced specifically according to the customer's requirements.

Therefore, cancellations and refunds may not be accepted once production has commenced.

If an order is cancelled before production begins, any refund will be subject to the costs already incurred by Handy Print, including artwork preparation, materials, processing fees, or other applicable charges.

10. Responsibility for Submitted Content

The customer confirms that they have the necessary rights and permissions to use all artwork, images, logos, fonts, photographs, and other materials supplied to Handy Print.

The customer shall be responsible for any copyright, trademark, intellectual property, or other legal claims arising from the materials supplied by the customer.

Handy Print reserves the right to refuse production of any material that we believe may violate applicable laws or third-party rights.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order with Handy Print, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

Handy Print reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions from time to time without prior notice.
